Baby’s First Essential Oil Roller

I initially began using Young Living essential oils and supplements years ago, hoping they’d help me develop healthier habits and combat struggles I was facing with my chronic Lyme disease. But I also knew I’d value that much more when it was time to start a family.

Naturally, I packed my oil arsenal in my hospital bag while preparing for labor and delivery. But I also made our Little One’s first roller, knowing I’d want to use them for her as soon as it was safe to do.

What I used:

10 mL roller (you can get a good deal on all oily products at Abundant Health or right here)

Grapeseed oil

Gentle Baby

What I did:

To the roller, add

  • 1 drop Frankincense
  • 1 drop Myrrh
  • 1 drop Gentle Baby
  • Fill remainder with grapeseed oil

Dilution is very important for little ones who are still developing. There are plenty of oils that are safe for adults to use undiluted (make sure you always read the instructions on each individual bottle), but even the gentlest ones should be diluted for little ones. A general rule of thumb: the smaller they are, the more you should dilute.

Of course, always check with your pediatrician before you try anything new for your baby.
